With over a decade of experience in creative content writing, video production, and project management, Monique has become a luminary in the film industry. Monique's career spans prestigious studios such as Skydance Animation, Netflix Feature Animation, Zero VFX, and Blue Sky Studios, where her multicultural perspective and keen attention to detail have contributed to the creation of globally acclaimed animated content.

My Journey

- 2015: Broke into animation production

- 2015–2018: Worked on Ice Age: Collision Course, Ferdinand, Spies in Disguise & Nimona at Blue Sky Studios

- 2018: Launched podcast #SimplyRobotix

- 2018: Cofounded DiverseToons

- 2019-2022: Worked on Escape from Hat, With Kind Regards from Kindergarden, and Leo at Netflix Animation Studios

- 2022–2022: Worked on Challengers at ZeroVFX

- 2023 – Present: Worked on Spellbound, Flink’s Pigeons Problems, and Pookoo at Skydance Animation

- 2023: Became Director of Communications at Black N Animated

- 2024: Produced first independent animated short film, Marvelous Gift

- 2024: Began consulting on short films and educational content

- 2025: Produced animated short film, Remember The Rats

- 2025: Became Co-Director at Black N Animated
